Neurosomatic therapy (NST) is an integrative form of manual therapy that identifies and corrects structural and biomechanical patterns in the body that cause chronic pain.
One law applied in neurosomatic therapy is Wolff’s law, which states, “Form follows function and function follows form.” Thus, a distortion in the form of the body is often correlated to improper function of the body. Restoration of proper structure—through NST—often alleviates the accompanying physiological problems.
When we treat you using NST, we conduct a careful analysis of dysfunctional postural and movement patterns, then use a combination of noninvasive techniques, such as massage therapy, posturology and corrective exercise, to help you experience true pain relief. We use NST to not only to eliminate pain in your body but also to educate you on ways to prevent recurrence of the injury or condition.
NST is effective in treating the following painful conditions:
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Thoracic outlet syndrome
- Tennis elbow
- Piriformis syndrome
- Rotator cuff strain
- Frozen shoulder
- Range of motion restriction
- Plantar fasciitis
- Bulging discs
Frequency-specific microcurrent (FSM) is a new way to treat nerve and muscle pain using specific frequencies and micro-amperage current. It is similar to electrostimulation and electrical muscle stimulation.
FSM has changed what is possible in pain management, as it can treat chronic myofascial pain, nerve pain from nerve traction injuries, disc bulges, herniations, herpes and shingles quickly, easily and comfortably.
Plus, if you have kidney stone pain, disc and facet joint pain or fibromyalgia associated with neck trauma, FSM can give you rapid, often lasting relief and unprecedented changes in inflammatory cytokines.
While we can’t guarantee that frequency-specific microcurrent will get you out of pain, we can promise that this therapy gives you much hope.
