Dr. Erner completed his DO degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985, after earning his BA at Columbia University. He is trained in internal medicine and completed a fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine.
Dr. Erner was a clinical assistant professor of OMT at NYCOM and joined Dr. Ostrow in practice from 1988 to 1991. He then practiced in Greenwich, Connecticut and Chappaqua, New York before returning to NYC in 2016.
Dr. Erner practices integrative medicine and believes in empowering patients to participate in their own well-being. With a specialty in musculoskeletal health, he utilizes osteopathic manipulative medicine in all its forms, employing a variety of nonsurgical techniques for musculoskeletal problems. He utilizes medical acupuncture, principles of anti-aging and nutraceuticals in pursuit of patients’ optimal health and well-being.
